With all the uncertainty swirling in the world this year, I’ve been asked a few times of late how I maintain my faith and positioning. Without thinking, my response was that I had too many data points from too many different directions to ever be shaken from what I believe.
As I processed that idea with Holy Spirit, I was given the picture of a huge ship dropping anchor. I began to research this and realized that large ships can actually have several anchors to throw off the different sides of the craft. Obviously this produces greater stability than one anchor alone.
I also began to understand that the type of anchor can differ tremendously. Some of the current designs are a far cry from just a basket weighed down with stones. They are specifically crafted to dig deep into the sea bed with their pronged arms.
This is a more robust picture of the answer I had been sharing. God has provided me with so many varied anchors thrown in so many different directions, my “ship” is as stable as it has ever been, despite the storm swirling around us. Because of this, I implicitly trust Him, the Lord of the Harvest, to accomplish everything He has spoken.
A new friend suggested I create a space on this website for people to share their anchors in order to encourage and stabilize everyone all the more. I loved this idea and wrote this blog for that purpose. Please drop in the comments what God has been showing you lately. I’ll begin with that reader’s contribution below!
It’s Cate K/Cathy. Inspired by your scope on anchors and data points, would you consider adding a feature on your site where you and your followers can share/post their data points? The reason I ask is that I came across this article and it made me think, given all the work that our President has done to promote peace, it’s hard for me to believe that Our Father would allow this to fall by the wayside. (We know the other side won’t pursue it.) This would tell me that our President will continue to help further these efforts to bring peace to the Middle East!

What a wonderful idea. My Anchor is Jesus the Messiah. We say all the time God wins. While that is true, it occurred to me Who is going to do the fighting so that the statement “God wins” becomes a reality in the future. This came to me while doing exegesis of the book of Revelation, specifically chapter 5. John was weeping in the second vision because no one could open the seals of the scroll. One of the elders basically tells him to stop crying because the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Root of David overcame to open the seals. John sees a Lamb standing even though it was slain. That mental image that John gives us is all you need to know what is going to happen to the enemies of God. A slain Lamb that is alive and has 7 eyes and 7 horns. The eyes and horns present God’s omniscience and omnipotence together they represent doom for our adversaries. The enemy is screwed. While this example is yet future at the end of the age and Jesus is currently our Great High Priest, one day, He will cease the priestly function, and take on the mantle of the Davidic King and return to judge the earth. Justice is coming both now and in the future at the end of the age.
So true – thankful we get to study the END of the story!!
My biggest anchor will always be God and keeping connected to Holy Spirit, but what has helped me keep the faith without doubting is the people God has raised up to bring and dissect info. Kevin Zadai, Hank Kunneman, Dutch Sheets, Praying Medic, X22 Report, etc. Because I have been prepared ahead of time, I haven’t fallen into the defeatest attitudes and have been able to encourage those who have, to keep the faith.

Hey Andrea I follow you on Twitter and occasionally comment on your posts. I just wanted to say I was actually considering messaging you yesterday asking if you would like to do something very similar to this. I wasn’t sure about it though cause I’m just some random guy who has barely even interacted with your twitter posts hahaha but God did it anyway – so cool!!!
Anyway, I am a patriot living in Mexico on a YWAM base. I know God is moving big time in the U.S. Tonight I was playing piano in our prayer room and felt the Holy Spirit leading me. Sometimes I just play as a prayer to God, but without words. As I played I really felt strongly God was declaring victory in America – we have won and it’s not even close.
During this time I randomly started playing the Michigan Wolverines fight song – something I haven’t even thought about playing for a very long time. At first I wasn’t even sure what I was playing. But I felt like it was from God. I felt that God was saying something about Michigan, and maybe even God was at this very moment doing something there. But then I realized their fight song is called “The Victors “. I HAD NO IDEA!!!! I felt God declaring victory, then he gave me a victorious song to confirm it!!
I know, we already knew we are winning BIG but now we have more confirmation. (I’m listening to your video and just now hearing you talk about KNOWING we are going to win)
