While in a prophetic prayer service last week, we were interceding for the generations. Suddenly, I began to feel my stomach churn, the fire burn, and Holy Spirit began to speak.
I heard Him say, “We are heading into the culmination of four-generations: the culmination of the revivals, the awakenings, the anointings, of all four. Not one of these generations will be left behind. NO, NOT ONE.”
As I gazed up and into the spirit, I saw the generations lined up like matches in a row, as one generation lit the next which lit the next and so on. The flame was passed until all of them, collectively in one flame, kept going higher and higher and higher.
Let’s take a quick look at the definition of culmination: it is the highest or climactic point of something, especially as having been attained after a long period of time.
This wording rang absolutely true of the towering flames I had seen. We are headed up into a climactic place that is higher than we’ve ever been before, higher than every previous move of God. This is because they will all be accumulated together after a long period of time.
He continued, “I’m blowing on the embers even now…but before the fires of glory and revival can come, it is a fire of cleansing first. I am cleansing out the toxic seeds that have been planted for the last four generations.”
I immediately understood that in order for the culmination to occur, the flames of cleansing had to be released first. There are many deceptive ideas, sown as seeds by the enemy that have grown up alongside God’s truth. It is now time for them to be burned out from the root. These include such lies as apathy, cynicism, safety, conformity, passivity, skepticism, and silence.
As unpleasant as this year of shaking has been, can we begin to imagine this move – when these four generations are cleansed and burning together as one? What would this pinnacle be worth?
Will it be worth it to go through the cleansing, the shaking, the tearing, the uprooting? This process we find ourselves in is beyond uncomfortable – it is downright painful. But oh friends, having seen and felt His fire that day, I know it will be worth it.
If you are a presence-lover and glory-carrier that has been watching and waiting, can I implore you to get in the fight? Rise up, dear one, even if in the natural you feel non-confrontational and hate that this has to be so violent. We need all the voices, every single last one of the called-out remnant, to rise with courage and boldness.
There are some who will dare to choose to sleep-walk through this time. As we encounter those, it’s best to shake the dust off your feet and move on. The prophetic unction in your belly will clash violently with the deception they are under. However, look for the meek, those who are on the verge of waking. That is your assignment now: rally the remnant to get ready to roar!
God has something so incredible on the horizon – truly truly truly. He wanted to give us a picture to keep us moving: A FOUR-GENERATION CULMINATION! Is it worth it to us to see His glory fall in such a way? Do we have the stomach for war that this time requires? Will we speak up in this hour and encourage others to do the same? We are louder together.
We view our slight, short-lived troubles in the light of eternity. We see our difficulties as the substance that produces for us an eternal, weighty glory far beyond all comparison. — II Corinthians 4:17 TPT
